The Senior Director, Customer Development, Target Reports to VP, US Customer Development and is directly responsible for P&L for the Target customer team, whose combined activities, direction, and business results have a significant impact on J&J's Consumer Group business. The Senior Director drives alignment between top level decision makers at Target, and within J&J, while recognizing the national impact of strategies implemented.
• Leads the strategy development of the Customer Business Planning Process
• Leads the Target customer team’s efforts across multiple business units to achieve forecast, profitability and strategic plan
• Sets strategy and objectives to achieve departmental goals
• Develops annual sales plan in support of organizational strategy and objectives
• Direct implementation and execution of sales policies and practices
• Talent and performance management of the customer team, while developing high performing leaders to meet succession planning requirements for the future
• Develop a strategic plan with Target that outlines a three year growth plan
• Recommend and establish sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analysis
• Balance delivery of short and long term results
• Drive strategic alignment between top level decision-makers at Target, and within J&J, while recognizing the national impact of strategies implemented
• Build relationships with and grow and leverage internal resources to benefit Target and J&J
• Direct sales department in attainment of targets and objectives
• Implement approved sales and distribution strategies
