Kronos is seeking an exceptional talent with a unique blend of skills and experience to join our Corporate Marketing team to lead Product Marketing and serve as principle strategist and spokesperson for Analyst Relations.
Reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Marketing, this Senior Director role will be responsible for content strategy and execution for Kronos' flagship and strategic products, including Workforce Dimensions, Workforce Central and Workforce Ready.
The successful candidate should have significant product knowledge within the Workforce Management and Human Capital Management space and be able to craft messaging, develop positioning and collaborate with other Marketing functions to conceive and execute innovative programs that drive demand for Kronos products. He or she will need to understand enterprise software buyer personas and their buying practices. Experience in working with Sales teams to enable effective selling and partnering with other internal functions, such as SMB Marketing, to drive revenue pipeline. As lead evangelist across our product line, this individual must stay current on all product functions and features, directing the Product Marketing team to deliver a cohesive strategy aligned with Product Management, Marketing and Sales.
Goals will include:
? Research and develop market insights that inform product positioning
? Serve as evangelist and key spokesperson for the Kronos product line. Remain up-to-date on key product features and functions.
? Ensure alignment of product and demand messaging. Supply relevant product info to SMB team as needed.
? Work seamlessly with Demand, SMB, Sales to generate Sales revenue pipeline.
? Work with Product Management, Competitive Intelligence and other relevant groups to develop core product positioning, particularly around Workforce Dimensions, Workforce Ready and other strategic products.
In addition to Product Marketing, this key hire will take a leadership role in developing high-impact relationships with industry analysts, globally. In this part of the role, the individual will partner with an array of dynamic and influential Kronos leaders spanning product development, product management, all forms of marketing, as well as our executive leadership, and work collaboratively with our public relations team. He or she will be responsible for driving a communications program that clearly conveys Kronos messages regarding our strategy, product and industry direction, and competitive differentiators to influential analysts, associations, peer review sites and other influencers.
Goals will include:
Nurture established trusted relationships with industry influencers, and develop new relationships.
Prepare spokespeople for analyst briefings, inquiry calls, consults, and analyst events.
Own strategy and execution of annual analyst event.
Work with various internal constituents to develop messaging that results in positive analyst coverage and favorable perceptions.
Work with colleagues in other parts of marketing to develop and execute integrated programs for top-tier analyst reports and awards.
Analyze reports that are published about our market and effectively communicate and socialize results with relevant constituents, including sales, services, and marketing.
Work with marketing partners to create and disseminate sales enablement content.
Secure analyst quotes and press releases in collaboration with our public relations team.
Develop materials in collaboration with leaders to be used in customer-facing interactions.
Maintain database of analysts, analyst interactions, and analyst reports.
Interject analyst viewpoint into Kronos product and business decisions where appropriate.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communications skills, both oral and written, and a demonstrated ability to build and nurture strong relationships with key internal and external constituents. We're looking for a person with high-energy, strategic mind, creative spirit, a passion for driving business as measured through revenue and profitability and a genuine interest in leading and developing strong talent.
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of ten years in product marketing/analyst relations/communications preferred. Master's Degree a plus. Also, a significant plus will be direct experience in the Workforce Management and/or Human Capital Management spaces, with previous experience working for a direct competitor of Kronos, or organizations closely adjacent to our key markets. People management experience a must, but applied in leading blended-function teams will be considered an advantage.
