Role Summary:

Provide HR Leadership for Aviation Engineering Division's Lynn, MA facility. Responsible for providing superior employee relations strategy and support across a site of nearly 800 engineers. Client organization responsibilities for Leaders, Managers and Employees to address organizational and employee matters, as well as coaching, HR process expertise and other general HR activities. Provide significant interface with multiple GE facilities across the Aviation business and around the globe.

Essential Responsibilities:

Individuals in this category act as the HR Manager of record for a client group. Seasoned expertise within a field comprising of different approaches, methodologies, techniques and processes. Communicates solutions across HR with strong awareness of impact on other Functions.

Additionally:

+ The Lynn Senior Employee HR Manager is the first point of contact for employees & managers across the site

+ Provide leadership, coaching and support for individual employees & advise leaders and individuals on HR processes

+ The SEHRM is responsible for the leadership and talent development of another EHRM at the site

+ The SEHRM provides strategic coaching, guidance and decision-making across the site and / or in the business

+ Communication, change management and project leadership is required with colleagues and business leaders

+ Ability to communicate complex messages to others

+ Acts frequently as a project leader in HR projects involving the business and across functions

+ Ability to manage matrix relationships is important for success

+ Shares, in partnership with other, responsibility for site level initiatives

+ Partnering and aligning with Engineering GM's and HRBP's on organization strategy

Qualifications/Requirements:

+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in Employee Human Resource Management

+ Demonstrated ability to lead programs /projects
