We learn from users through directed research, product use and high-volume data collection to build an understanding of who they are and how we can delight them. We coordinate our work with computer vision and machine learning researchers across the company to build groundbreaking technology. We are looking for you to lead engineers focused on building Cloud services for the Photos app. You will help drive the architecture and team that enables a mobile-first, cloud-first experience.
Your skills and experiences that will enable success:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1+ years as a people manager
• 4+ years designing and building highly scalable cloud services
• Experience collaborating and negotiating with application owners building on components you own Ideally, a deep grasp of REST, GraphQL, C#, Azure, CloudDB, Elastic AutoPilot
• Track record of consuming and contributing to Open Source software
• Real passion for taking, editing, and sharing videos and photos using the latest tools
