What you’ll be doing...

The position supports Supply Chain Planning and Operational functions for Inventory Management. The candidate should be well versed with Sales & Operation Planning, Short Term Demand and Supply Planning and Inventory Optimization functions. The candidate should be strong in Order Management, Procurement and Inventory Management systems. Performs business requirements analysis to provide systems solutions. Liaisons between business and IT development for business requirements; writes system requirements document with detailed design and performs functional testing. Trouble shoots production issues, and work closely with business partners in identifying step functions. Develops process roadmaps and communicates them to business partners and senior leaders via presentations and other artifacts. Leads the team in implementing business process changes in the system occasionally managing external consultants.

The suitable candidate works with the business partners in configuring and testing solutions for the next step functions in a proactive and fast time to market manner. Designs end to end process solutions to meet business requirements. Directs the development team for the design and testing of development objects. Takes ownership in resolving production and test issues.

Business Analysis: Analysis of business processes to develop roadmap for business process maturity.

System Configuration: Configure the ERP systems to enable To-Be processes.

Solution Design: Develop end to end systems design to meet business requirements.

Testing Solution: Develop test plans and scripts for end to end testing of the solution.

Application Support: Resolve application production issues to ensure that it is working as designed.

This position will require the candidate to assess business needs in a fast changing competitive market space. The candidate will architect and develop solutions to meet the fast changing business needs.

New markets are being developed to increase the revenues for the business. New/updated system solution is needed to meet the business requirements. The candidate needs to work with business partners to architect and develop a solution in a fast paced environment leading several cross functional teams.

New products in the market place are impacting demand for legacy products. The candidate will have to develop processes to forecast the demand for new and legacy products so optimal inventory for both products is maintained improving working capital requirements and customer satisfaction.

This position will require the candidate to quickly assess priorities and tasks in a fast paced environment and delegate effectively.

Multiple business groups with their own priorities are competing for similar deadlines. The candidate must be able to prioritize the requests and identify which request can be solved first based on overall business impact.

As the go to person for the system many support issues are directed to the candidate. The candidate will have to work with business partners to define correct support processes and delegate the support work to the appropriate resources.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or six or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Experience with SAP SD, MM, APO and EIS.
  • Knowledge of testing tools like HPQC , CATT/eCATT and/or WorkSoft
  • Knowledge of DevOps and Agile methodology is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Project management skills and ABAP knowledge would be a plus.
  • 6+ years’ experience with Supply Chain Planning and Inventory Management experience on an ERP system.
  • 7+ years’ experience with SAP SD, MM, Planning Systems, Agile Methodology, Worksoft Test Automation, Cloud/DevOps.
