Responsible for all aspects of the requirements to design and implement a Financial & Cost Accounting system within SAP for a sales, engineering, and manufacturing throughout the organization. 
  • Responsible for designing, building, testing and deploying for SAP projects for the Record to Report (RTR) process.
  • Manages the RTR business requirements, high level design and master data requirements into a detailed SAP design.
  • Partners with integrator and existing accounting group to design high quality solutions to meet the functional requirements.
  • Coordinates test planning and execution.
  • Supports training and documentation as necessary to ensure compliance.
  • Partners with the leaders of other value and work streams to leverage the expertise and to engage the resources needed for the programs approved by the business.
  • Promotes and manages knowledge development for team-members in the SAP areas of Finance & Controlling.
  • Leads efforts for ensuring reporting requirements of the Accounting and Finance department are met.
  • Conducts special accounting studies, analysis, and reports for top management as needed.
  • Responsible for working with the Project Management Organization, Accounting members and others to develop deliverables and schedules for various phases of the SAP implementation
  • Assists senior management in making day-to-day operating decisions and offers advice on various aspects of Company management.
  • Establishes and/or assists in the establishment of goals and objectives for department or area of responsibility.
  • Plans and coordinates organizational activities, establishing priorities and sequences to meet the designate goals and objectives
  • Participates in the development of company policy, mainly for the issues related to inventory, trade payable, and model cost management. Administers approved accounting procedures throughout the company.
  • Conducts periodical self-audits of internal systems and procedures and cooperating with internal auditors to improve systems soundness and efficiency.
  • Responsible for Information Security Management (ISM) as part of the management of staff members, their work and workplace.
  • Responsible for the management of information security as part of the normal management of the business.  Must cooperate with the Company ISM professionals in implementing the information security policies within the Company, and ensures that information is handled in compliance with the Global ISM related regulations.
  • Interprets, enforces and complies with Company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Prepares reports, charts, graphs, and other statistical information.
  • Will initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • A BS/BA Degree in a related field and eight (8) years related Accounting experience required.
  • Previous SAP Record to Report (RTR) implementation leadership experience with at least one major SAP Implementation required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Previous management and leadership skills required.
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint or other presentations tools to conduct presentations to management.
