Current Need
The Senior Financial Analyst works closely with Cost Center Owners in the McKesson IT division to develop, understand, and present monthly forecast and plan variance explanations, by a variety of thresholds and formats, for the area of expense.
This position is responsible for initiating customer communications with Executive Leaders by scheduling and leading monthly financial reviews for their respective areas. Also responsible for providing monthly standardized reports across their departments and coordinating inputs for Corporate and Executive reporting deliverables.




Position Description

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
  • 5+ years accounting, finance, finance analytics or similar experience

Critical Skills
  • 4-5 years experience to include forecasting, budgeting, strategic Planning and financial modeling, and the ability to present and communicate financial results effectively
  • 4-5 years strong business acumen to perform financial, trend and variance analysis, identify cost drivers, and understand services and business strategy.
  • Strong technical skills in Excel
Additional Knowledge & Skills
  • SAP experience
  • Managing ERP financials
     

Education

  • MBA preferred in finance or related field or equivalent experience
