This individual will be leading the business analyst pooled resource model. They will work closely with the development team and business user groups to translating business needs and requirements into clearly and easily understood documents. In addition the will forecast, deploy and manage business analyst resources in support of ETCS projects.


The Senior Leader, Business Analyst will:

  • Work with the business to translate requirements for IT spring cycles and in a consumable format and terminology for developers (includes project charters, use cases, data flows, wireframes…etc). Explain to the business how requirements may be implemented from a functional standpoint
  • Manage the business analyst resource pool
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing or assists unit testers so that requirements are satisfied
  • Oversee day to day platform configuration management
  • Understand an IT system or systems that the business uses, maps out business processes to serve as reference for development and IT support
  • Apply compliance requirements within scope of responsibility, provide documentation and participates in compliance activities as required
  • Perform other work related duties as assigned

  • A Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science or business administration is required; Master’s degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of overall related business experience is required; diverse experience in IT and previous experience in a business analyst role is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of people management experience is required.
  • Business experience, technology leadership experience is preferred.
  • Current knowledge of industry and business process trends is required; knowledge related to ETCS product line is preferred.
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture and application development methodologies is required.
  • A broad understanding of product line capabilities and limitations of existing systems is preferred.
  • The ability to learn business and complex processes quickly is required.
  • The ability to understand and work across multiple business domains in support of projects is required.
  • Strong communication, leadership and critical thinking skills are required.
  • Previous experience in an Agile environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office is preferred.
  • The ability to work from objectives with minimal guidance or supervision is preferred.
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies is required.
  • The ability to partner with development teams that support various technology platforms is preferred.
  • Proven relationship management skills are preferred.
  • This position is based in New Brunswick, NJ.
  • This position may require up to 10-20% domestic and international travel.
