Adecco's Direct Hire recruiting team, seeks a Senior Manager of Business Development & Partnerships for our client, an experiential & marketing agency that is creating an exciting cultural evolution for aspiring, talented marketing professionals. This person will have an entrepreneurial spirit, is motivated, autonomous & has proven track record of generating hundreds of thousands' of dollars in sponsorship revenue from leading media brands.


Primary responsibilities:

Identify key decision makers and thought leaders within a diverse scope of a prospect universe.
Qualify, develop, and solidify meaningful relationships that result in the attainment of individually-assigned revenue goals; utilize Cloud-based tool including CRM to this end.
Collaborate, co-develop, and execute with a sense of urgency on innovative strategies that have an immediate impact on revenue.
Achieve and exceed assigned revenue targets.
Maintain and update prospect pipeline in real time.
Provide additional and various information when called upon by director, supervisor, or other members of the executive team.
Participate in regular sales meetings as well as individual discussions with the vice president of strategic partnerships.
Employ daily outreach tactics to consistently communicate with potential partners.
Work efficiently and proactively with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred and/or 3+ years of business development experience in a professional environment.
Event sponsorship sales experience preferred; proven track record of developing, closing, and retaining sponsors/strategic partners.
Capacity to think creatively.
Effective negotiating skills.
Experience with major brand activations a strong +.
Great written and verbal communication skills including phone and in-person.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office; GoogleDocs; Mac-savvy a plus; experience working with various CRM tools & databases, including Salesforce)
Working knowledge of social networking applications i.e. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram.
