Senior Manager, Change Leadership - Medical Devices

Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices, a member of Johnson & Johnson family of companies, is currently recruiting for a Senior Manager, Change Leadership - Medical Devices to be located in New Brunswick, NJ, Somerville, NJ or Raynham, MA. This is a duration based role. The assignment length for this position is expected to last approximately 12 months.


 Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices is currently $20 billion in World Wide sales.  The business is expected to experience solid growth over the next 5 to 7 years. Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices contains key surgical platforms such as Wound Closure, Orthopedics, Open and Minimally Invasive Stapling, Energy, Biosurgery, Aesthetics, ENT, and Cardiovascular surgical products. 


The Senior Manager, Change Leadership - Medical Devices will have responsibility for developing and executing multiple change management programs across Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices Companies working under the leadership of the Global Strategy and Business Transformation Office.  This includes designing and delivering a sustainable model for tools and trainings to create new culture of high engagement and performance. 


The Senior Manager, Change Leadership - Medical Devices will partner closely with communications and HR, and work with change leaders across regions, franchises, and functions to build and implement the sustainable strategic change initiatives to improve organizational health. This includes working closely with transformation project leads on the integration of change management. This individual will be responsible for identifying insights through data on interdependencies, barriers, and opportunities across the organization.  In addition, this Senior Manager, Change Leadership - Medical Devices will also be a champion for the new Goal alignment process in Medical Devices, called Focus4, to ensure it is integrated into core business processes

The Senior Manager, Change Leadership - Medical Devices will report to the Director, Change Leadership for Medical Devices. 

Additional Responsibilities Include:
  • Engage with Change Leaders across Medical Devices on their local strategies to identify key opportunities and barriers across regions, franchises, and functions
  • Create strategy for sustainable model of tools and trainings for local areas, and partner with change network leaders to implement
  • Drive integration of transformation projects and change management, including identifying interdependencies, overall monitoring, and assessing risks
  • Champion goal alignment and support the integration with core business processes and sustainability
  • Build deep change management knowledge and expertise across Medical Devices

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced Degree is preferred
  • A minimum of 6 years’ business experience required
  • Experience managing complex projects is required
  • Experience leading and influencing teams is required
  • Experience evaluating data and insights is required
  • Experience driving and implementing change is strongly preferred
  • Experience is Medical Device industry is preferred
  • Strong influencing and active listening skills are required
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
  • Up to 30% global travel is required
