Senior Manager - Data Quality

Are you passionate about building solutions to assess, measure, and improve data quality in enterprise IT? Do you enjoy solving complex problems with open source technologies in a fast-paced, collaborative, and iterative delivery environment?  In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of cutting-edge data quality solutions from the ground up for our emergent data platforms across both on-premise and in the Cloud.

The right candidate is someone who is passionate about data-driven technologies and understands the full technology stack involved in building data-driven products (back end data, APIs, and UI/UX). We're looking for someone who welcomes challenges and is hyper-focused on delivering exceptional results to internal business customers while creating a rewarding team environment.

On any given day you will:

- Architect and develop integrated data quality applications from the ground up using a modern technology stack such Spark, Scala, Elastic Search, Angular JS, Kibana, Kafka, NiFi

- Define, establish, and execute against strategic delivery roadmaps, actively managing technology risks, issues and impediments

- Work directly with Product Owners and end-users to develop data quality solutions in a highly collaborative and agile environment

- Help grow and mentor team members on the fine art of software engineering, data quality, and product evaluation

- Be an evangelist at hackathons and other external events for the FinTech industry

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience
- At least 5 years of experience delivering big data solutions within an agile delivery environment
- At least 5 years of experience directly managing a team of engineering resource
- At least 3 years of experience in an object oriented or functional languages
- At least 3 years of experience with Unix/Linux systems with scripting experience in Shell, Perl or Python

Preferred Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience working with frameworks such as Spark, Hadoop, Hbase
- 2+ years of experience implementing ELK stack
- 2+ years of experience working with Cloud platforms and AWS services
- 2+ years of experience working with automated build and continuous integration systems such as Ansible, Chef or Puppet, and Jenkins
- Desire to learn new skills / drive innovation on a cutting-edge product team
