Job Description

As Senior Manager of Brand Strategy in one of the newest groups within ODC, you will help clients unlock the value of big data.

You will tell stories using data to help inform audience strategy and creative insights across a variety of clients. You will present insights and best practices to marketers and their agency partners as well as advise internal go-to-market teams on best practices.

As part of the Oracle Data Cloud Brand Strategy Team, you will work collaboratively with the go-to-market team and cross-functional partners to develop innovative, data-driven products that meet the needs of our clients and fuel growth for the company.

You will participate in account planning and strategy development and work with senior management to define new solutions. Additionally, you will help develop sales and marketing collateral and develop thought leadership content for the industry.

It is important that you have a passion for learning, have a strong interest in advertising, marketing and digital media, and can thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced and evolving environment.

This position will be based in Colorado or New York.

Preferred Stills & Qualifications:

  • 10 years of relevant industry experience - hands-on DMP experience a plus
  • History of telling cohesive stories using big data
  • Strong presentation skills and executive presence
  • Knowledge in all aspects of digital advertising, data-driven marketing and measurement analytics
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to self-motivate, work in teams and be flexible within a fast-paced and changing environment
  • BA/BS degree required, advanced degree preferred

Qualifications:
Manages a team that is responsible for identifying relevant new business opportunities and designing "go-to-market" plans to deliver measurable and significant revenues. Consistently meets with potential customers and current customers to build pipeline.

Manages a team of business development representatives for a territory/region. May manage through other managers. The team is actively and frequently customer facing, providing the value proposition to business or org leaders, qualifying opportunities, and selling the value of the oracle solution. Provides daily operations management of lead qualification functions. Participates, as a team member, in strategic and tactical planning for the division. Responsible for coaching, performance management, and career development of staff. Participates in the recruiting process and provides hiring recommendations to senior management. Manages budget. Provides support to marketing and sales programs.

Experience qualifying prospects and customers; understanding of the sales cycle process. Strong leadership skills. Strong Oracle product knowledge preferred. BA/BS preferred. Experience managing staff. Manage and control activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensure appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet business needs.
