Reporting to the Director for Sales Learning
& Development, the Senior Manager will lead and coach a team of direct
reports and dotted line reports in the creation of the strategic learning
planning process for the assigned oncology sales organization to meet business
and brand objectives. Responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing, and implementing ongoing
and new hire learning programs for the sales organization.
- Ensuring that learning initiatives are in
alignment and support Sales and Marketing objectives.
- Leveraging resources across the organization
to achieve results, including budget management responsibility, and provide
human resource development planning for team.
- Monitoring learning program content to ensure
it is up-to-date for areas including, but not limited to, new hire training,
addressing ongoing learning needs, and adjustments based on strategic direction
of the sales force.
- Coaching to ensure the delivery and
coordination of training programs such as “train-the-trainer” and oversee and
acts as instructional designer.
- Understanding and applying Adult Learning
Principles and overseeing the MRC process to achieve HCC alignment while
looking to meet future needs.

- A minimum
of a Bachelor’s Degree is required
- A minimum
of five (5) years of industry experience, including a minimum of three (3)
years of management experience is required
success as a Sales District Manager (or above) is preferred
experience in Immunology is preferred
experience in Gastroenterology is a plus
Management expertise to manage complex projects is preferred
to coach on training facilitation, Adult Learning Principles and to clearly
deliver on Learning & Development objectives is required
to positively influence decision makers up and down one or more levels, with
and without authority, to achieve business objectives is required
to coach and develop individuals to achieve short and long-term career
aspirations is required
effective communication and negotiation skills to solve problems and gain
agreement is required
to successfully demonstrate and effectively apply industry, product,
