Reporting to the Director for Sales Learning & Development, the Senior Manager will lead and coach a team of direct reports and dotted line reports in the creation of the strategic learning planning process for the assigned oncology sales organization to meet business and brand objectives. Responsibilities include:

- Designing, developing, and implementing ongoing and new hire learning programs for the sales organization. 

- Ensuring that learning initiatives are in alignment and support Sales and Marketing objectives.  

- Leveraging resources across the organization to achieve results, including budget management responsibility, and provide human resource development planning for team.  

- Monitoring learning program content to ensure it is up-to-date for areas including, but not limited to, new hire training, addressing ongoing learning needs, and adjustments based on strategic direction of the sales force. 

- Coaching to ensure the delivery and coordination of training programs such as “train-the-trainer” and oversee and acts as instructional designer.  

- Understanding and applying Adult Learning Principles and overseeing the MRC process to achieve HCC alignment while looking to meet future needs.

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • A minimum of five (5) years of industry experience, including a minimum of three (3) years of management experience is required
  • Demonstrated success as a Sales District Manager (or above) is preferred
  • Professional experience in Immunology is preferred
  • Professional experience in Gastroenterology is a plus
  • Project Management expertise to manage complex projects is preferred
  • Ability to coach on training facilitation, Adult Learning Principles and to clearly deliver on Learning & Development objectives is required
  • Ability to positively influence decision makers up and down one or more levels, with and without authority, to achieve business objectives is required
  • Ability to coach and develop individuals to achieve short and long-term career aspirations is required
  • Demonstrated effective communication and negotiation skills to solve problems and gain agreement is required
  • Ability to successfully demonstrate and effectively apply industry, product, marketplace, and technical knowledge and expertise is required
  • Ability to partner effectively across the organization to achieve goals and leverage resources is required
  • Demonstrated expertise in the ability to identify and assess risk and prioritize competing demands for time, based on importance, need, and impact is required

  • This position may require up to 30% travel and will be based in Horsham, Pennsylvania.
