This position is dedicated to the management and delivery of the PepsiCo Senior Leadership Development Center (SLDC). The SLDC is a high-touch and high-impact custom designed multi-trait multi-method assessment and development process for senior leaders in the organization. The role is responsible for three key areas of the project: (a) conducting executive assessment interviews and one-on-one feedback sessions with executives, (b) providing individualized guidance and shepherding of highly customized participant development plans, and (c) overall end-to-end project management throughout the process in close partnership with multiple senior stakeholders in Talent Management and OD. In addition, the role will contribute to the ongoing overall design of the SLDC process, along with providing expertise to other Assessment and Development related efforts across the enterprise. Principal Accountabilities:
(35%) SLDC Assessment & Feedback: Partner with SVPs and VPs to conduct the following (a) individual structured behavioral assessment interviews, and (b) follow-up 90 minute individual feedback sessions with senior executives on their strengths and developmental opportunities based on several different types of psychometric tools. Total number to be determined but will likely range from 20-30 sessions annually. Responsible for leading the calibration process across tools and interview pairs to ensure a consistent and reliable process.
(35%) SLDC Development Planning: Partner with SVPs, VPs and CHROs to support the following (a) ensuring robust development plans in place for senior participants, (b) tracking and reporting progress against development plan objectives, and (c) identifying development themes and solutions (in partnership with PepsiCo University) and creating support resources/tools (e.g., Development Resource Guide). Also, responsible for writing integrated summaries for executives.
(20%) SLDC Project Management: Deliver all aspects end-to-end of the process including: participant identification and wave/stage assignments; owning the design and delivery of the SLDC 360 feedback process (nomination, reports, vendor management); liaison role with other feedback elements/owners and vendors; tracking of completion rates for each stage (info meetings, interviews, assessments, feedback, development plans; leading weekly updates with the core team, SVPs and VPs, etc. Role will manage an intern to assist in the PM process.
(10%) Special Projects: Lead the design and delivery of special COE related projects (e.g., data projects, research, thought pieces, proposals), and serve as a subject matter expert on various design task forces and teams. Qualifications/Requirements
- Master's degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology required with 7+ years of applied internal and/or client facing external work experience in assessment and development
- PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology or related field preferred with 3+ years of applied internal and/or client facing external work experience in assessment and development
- Technical knowledge and experience with psychological measures (e.g., Hogan), structured interviews and 360-degree feedback
- Strong influence and interpersonal skills, and high level of executive maturity
- Attention to detail and execution, excellent project management capability
- Excellent written and verbal skills
