Senior Manager, Sponsorships (Strategy)
Capital One is looking for a Senior Manager of Brand Sponsorships to lead select regional sponsorships. This role will be responsible for developing the sponsorship strategy and managing the execution and activation of our regional sponsorship properties.
This role will help define how line of business objectives can be met by a cohesive and integrated sponsorship strategy. You should have knowledge and experience in leading and activating sports and entertainment (e.g., music) based sponsorships and working with external creative and activation agencies. Successful candidates should have experience in business case development to gain support for new initiatives, as well as ability to establish measurements and metrics to determine program effectiveness. We’re looking for an individual with a strong, multi-discipline marketing experience ideally with retail driving sponsorships.
The Senior Manager, Sponsorships will ensure all activities are tied to an integrated marketing communications plan when applicable, partnering with external and internal creative and media agency colleagues, marketing/communications, Brand, Digital, PR, Social and other Marketing and Business functions. The Senior Manager, Sponsorships will interface with internal clients, collaborate in a team setting, strategize/plan sponsorship activations and manage external agencies. Successful candidates will have experience in leading social and digital marketing campaigns in support of sponsorship activations. Candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills. The Senior Manager will report to the Director of Brand Sponsorships within the Brand Marketing Department.
