The U.S. Acquisition Marketing team is focused on developing and executing an integrated, multi-channel customer acquisition strategy for lead generation and nurture through B2B, B2B2C, and D2C channels.  By partnering closely with the Business Units, the acquisition marketing team is responsible for helping them meet their growth expectations through customer prospects and inquiries.


The Senior Digital Analyst will build relationships with the business unit teams, global marketing, and media agencies.  He or she will identify business goals and develop strategies of translating those into marketing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and that individual will create and execute digital analytics measurement plans that play a key role in enhancing MetLife’s customer experience and performance of online and offline marketing programs. The successful candidate will investigate customer behavior, attribute revenue, assess business impact and socialize findings for the betterment of the organization.



  • Collaborate with marketing stakeholders and technical constituents to develop business requirements.
  • Develop data collection methodologies and processes to support needs for online campaigns, website / portal behavior, and conversion funnel performance.
  • Provide marketing insights and consultation across multiple marketing channels:
    • Paid and organic search.
    • Acquisition and CRM email.
    • Social media.
    • Display and digital remarketing.
    • TV, print and direct mail.
  • Determine the correlation between online and offline data sources to provide behavioral insights.
  • Assist in setting digital analytics strategic direction including governance and enhancing use of measurement tools.
  • Ensure analytic and IT operational best practices, including tag management, are scalable within the MetLife enterprise model.
  • Manage relationships with digital analytics vendors such as Google, Adobe and ClickTale.


  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative and/or business field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data/ digital analytics, monitoring business performance results and creating recommendations to make key business decisions.
  • Fluency in using industry standard reporting tools such as Google Analytics, DoubleClick platforms, Adobe Analytics, Excel, R, SQL, BrightEdge, ClickTale TeaLeaf.
  • Working knowledge of Tableau, Domo or other data aggregation and visualization software.
  • Established track record of managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to foster new and existing partnerships.
  • Sound business acumen with results-driven mindset and sense of urgency.
  • Basic knowledge of marketing principles and insurance/ financial services products e.g. life & auto insurance, annuities and brokerage services.
  • Working knowledge of project management software e.g. WorkFront, BaseCamp.
  • Experience in implementing media mix modeling, multivariate testing and multi-touch attribution e.g. Adometry, Visual IQ, Convertro.
  • Adobe Analytics; web analytics certified.
