The Senior Marketing Manager, Global Strategic Marketing – SURGIFLO Hemostatic
Matrix and Matrix Kit (with thrombin) will be responsible for the development
of current and future strategies on the flowable platform as part of the GSM team.
The Senior Marketing Manager, Global Strategic Marketing will also work on
cross-platform initiatives for the Biosurgery platform.
The Senior Marketing Manager, Global Strategic Marketing will hold both some
upstream and brand management duties, to include:
strategy including brand segmentation, positioning, pricing strategies, claims,
life cycle management, and business development strategies.
in the development of an ETHICON Biosurgery comprehensive, global strategy and
partner with Regional Marketing and Sales to ensure flawless global implementation
and ongoing program development.
will partner with R&D, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Sales, Regional
Marketing, Finance and key customers in planning, coordinating and sequencing
product/new indication launches and customer targeting; identifying unmet
customer needs, and providing direction for global growth opportunities.
commercial input to the advancement of product concepts through the new product
development process including providing insights and voice of customer,
developing the business case, implementing target product profiles and leading
product launch excellence.
accountable to reach financial targets within specified budgets and timeframes
and ensure applicable company compliance with all relevant country and regional
requirements, company regulations, policies and procedures.
minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree required. An Advanced Degree is preferred (i.e.
minimum of 7 years of relevant business experience is required.
minimum of 2+ years in marketing is required.
in the healthcare industry is required.
in the Medical Device Industry is strongly preferred.
regional in line marketing and/or Global strategic marketing experience is
with Marketing Excellence/Mastery (or related program) including Launch
Excellence principles is required.
in product development including needs assessment, portfolio management and
product lifecycle management is preferred.
experience in an agency environment with proven client management, branding and
partnership experience with senior level clients in Fortune 500 companies is
ability to work in a matrix-organization required.
cross functional and management influencing skills and ability to develop
customer relationships required.
with supply chain, global brand management, influencing a Medical Device sales
force and new product launch preferred.
experience developing and leveraging customer insight preferred.
This position may require up to 30% travel including both domestic and/or
international and is based in Somerville, NJ.
