Senior Material Handler - 2 SHIFTS AVAILABLE Monday through Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm - Sunday through Thursday 11:00pm-7:30am - OVERTIME IS REQUIRED AND THIS CAN INCLUDE COMING IN EARLY, WORKING LATE AND WORKING ON YOUR DAYS OFF. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required: -High School diploma or GED. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. -Computer skills: Must have above average computer skills - must be clearly documented on resume -Previous experience using automated inventory system is REQUIRED (i.e., SAP, MES, etc.)- must be clearly documented on resume -Previous experience using motorized & non-motorized material handling equipment required - must be clearly documented on resume -Must be physically able to operate a forklift; forklift experience required - MUST HAVE 2 FULL YEARS OF FORKLIFT OPERATING EXPERIENCE WITHIN THE PAST 3 YEARS THAT CAN BE VERIFIED -Demonstrated ability to work safely in a production environment. - must be clearly documented on resume -Must be able to demonstrate good mathematical aptitude in addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, & metric system. -Experience in a government regulated, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or standard operating procedures (SOP) environment required. Previous warehouse experience preferred. Duties and Responsibilities: -Perform full range of duties associated with a warehouse operation such as: -computer work to include logging incoming material, printing labels, utilizing bills of laiding to ensure correct material has been received -forklift operation -set-up and load trailers for shipment -prepare receiving documents -supply various raw and packaging materials to the production departments -Operate company car or truck for interplant, local and long distant trips -Help build team-oriented culture by motivating and supporting team members, being faithful to the team process by sharing knowledge with all members of the factory to continuously improve the process. -Take ownership of training and learning to develop skills to continuously improve process. -Utilize automated inventory system (i.e., SAP, MES) to conduct the following transactions, as needed: scrap transactions, reconciliation, manual transfers, SAP inventory cleanup, etc. -May perform other duties as assigned Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled
