Job Summary

This resource will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining applications on the Microsoft .NET platforms. This individual should have a passion for software development & innovation and be capable of working with minimal oversight on enterprise projects and enhancing existing applications. The following job responsibilities would apply to this position:

                                                       

  • Work with key business stake holders as well as Crowe’s Information Services team comprised of Project Managers and Business Analyst to design, build, implement, and support a set of internally used applications built on the Microsoft technology stack
  • Devises logic and technical procedures
  • Performs coding and tests/debugs applications and programs
  • Develops conversion and system implementation plans
  • Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation
  • Builds solutions and perform maintenance that are technically efficient, effective, and follows internal and industry standards
  • Performs Full Systems Life Cycle, (plan, design, develop, test, implement, and maintain) effectively
  • Develops estimates and completes assignments on time and within budget
  • Conducts research, advises on new technology, and evaluates alternative solutions
  • Provides third level application support for portfolio of applications used internally by the firm
  • Effectively works in teams as well as independently

 


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • 5 years’ experience developing web applications using .NET Framework, C#, ASP .NET, XML, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, and CSS
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills required
  • 5 years’ of experience developing applications on the SQL Server platform using T-SQL, stored procedures and database functions
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills required
  • Deep knowledge recent .NET Frameworks, specifically C# and ASP.NET required
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, and XML
  • Knowledge of Transact SQL (T-SQL) syntax and database development on SQL Server 2008 (or later) platform required
  • Services Oriented Architecture (Web Services, HTTP, REST) programming experience preferred
  • Experience with SharePoint-based custom development a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft MVC Framework or the Model View Presenter (MVP) pattern a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) a plus
  • Microsoft development related certifications a plus
