POSITION SUMMARY:


Under the general direction of the Director of Nursing/or Associate Director of Nursing, and working with the operations team, the Senior Nurse Manager may be responsible for the development, design, launch, and training of clinical programs. The Senior Nurse Manager, provides management of the Nurse Managers and Nurses assigned to the clinical programs within a designated specialty. This role will serve as a subject matter expert when needed to support new business initiatives and may participate in writing components for business proposals. This role may also work with the client to provide program updates and address client issues. The Senior Nurse Manager is responsible for the administration of a program/client/team.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Ensures team is meeting contractual obligations
  2. Implements and ensures that processes are in place to monitor quality and program compliance; is accountable for program quality and compliance with standard operating procedures
  3. Implements programs which promote high motivation among team members
  4. Coaches, counsels and sets goals for Telehealth Nurse Educators, specialized to help develop them for career progression
  5. Conducts performance reviews
  6. Provides day-to-day instructions to team members on job responsibilities
  7. Participates in the hiring and termination process; identifies staffing needs and works with Human Resources to recruit appropriate staffing
  8. May provide training for associates
  9. May serve as a mentor
  10. Responsible for ensuring timing completion of the incentive plan performance metrics
  11. Helps associates resolve work-related issues
  12. Provides feedback up and down the organization (positive and constructive)
  13. Participates in client meetings; prepares agenda and/or takes meeting notes
  14. Translates and oversees organizational strategies for assigned goals; analyzes progress of tactical issues
  15. Identifies client issues; receives and triages client requests
  16. Proactively identifies program issues and proposes ways in which to address their concerns
  17. Maintains positive rapport with internal and external clients
  18. Performs related duties as assigned



Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license and possess the ability to be licensed as a Registered nurse in multiple states. All nursing licenses must be free of disciplinary actions and/or restrictions.
  2. Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  3. Bachelor's degree preferred
  4. Associate's degree with work experience will be considered
  5. 5 years of clinical or industry experience required, to include 3 years of progressive leadership experience
  6. Related disease state certification preferred. Certification is required within one year of employment
  7. Project management experience a plus.
  8. Evidence of advanced education is preferred.

  1. Excellent oral and written communication skills
  2. Excellent analytical and organizational skills; attention to detail
  3. Excellent interpersonal skills
  4. Ability to use a computer for data collection
  5. Ability to manage multiple tasks along a parallel process
  6. Call center experience preferred
  7. Evidence of continuing education a plus
  8. Must have proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint a plus
