Senior Patent Paralegal III - (B3)

  • Patent operations including docketing, data integrity, validation, and portfolio management
  • On-going responsibility for managing patent management software (IPMS), e.g., configure/report/workflow creator
  • Organize and manage projects
  • Provide administrative support as needed including monitoring budgets/invoices, setting up meetings, process expense reports, coordinate travels, and the like
  • Perform legal and non-legal research and analysis, and report-out findings
  • Collaborate across functional groups within the law department
  • Support projects in global strategy and procedural enhancements
  • Extract, analyze and reports from various databases
  • Work with Attorneys on all variety of legal matters such as intellectual property law, contracts, legal research, and projects

  • Bachelor degree; paralegal certificate a plus
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Docketing experience
  • Experience with patent management systems (e.g., Anaqua, Lercopio, and IP Manager)
  • Customer oriented and team player
  • Works well in a global legal-business environment
  • Results-oriented and takes pride in delivering world-class product and confronting issues with viable/innovative solutions
  • Able to build or change structure and procedure in accordance to business objectives
  • Works independently with moderate level of guidance and direction
  • 7 years experience
