A PMM at LinkedIn is responsible for driving the growth of their product family by leading the global go-to-market strategy, execution, and enablement for products and features.
We are looking for an exceptional, experienced senior product marketer who is passionate about the corporate learning space, strategic, and puts the customer first to help bring our next generation of products and solutions to market. This person will be responsible for identifying opportunities to drive value, gaining alignment with product management, and leading go-to-market strategy and execution with cross-functional partners, including our global sales organization. The right candidate can lead the definition of our priority customer segments, determine their real needs and use-cases, develop data-driven business cases for action, create compelling narratives for our customers, and can easily pivot from strategy to get-it-done mode - all across multiple audiences and in a complex and highly competitive market environment.
  • Developing deep market and customer understanding in your product area, including: thorough knowledge of the decision maker, administrator and end user, primary use cases, priority targets/personas, competitive forces, and global trends
  • Influencing the product roadmap through deep partnership with product management and your knowledge of customer needs, sales needs, trends, and market opportunity
  • Identifying opportunities for new products and features and leading efforts to bring them to market. This could include:
  • Validating product-market fit of new products and features and informing opportunity size
  • Leading charter customer and/or other scalable VOC/VOF programs for your products, including "making sense" of the feedback, and educating the business on findings and implications
  • Developing go-to-market strategy for new products or features including: definition of target/persona, positioning, messaging, sales narrative, and GTM strategy
  • Supporting the development and implementation of pricing and monetization strategies
  • Leading cross-functional GTM efforts for launches in partnership with product, marketing/PR, segment PMMs, sales, and operations
  • Being the internal expert and evangelist for your products within marketing, which would include:
  • Owning the product-level value proposition, messaging, and narrative to inform marketing and sales activities
  • Supporting sales, marketing and customer success as a subject matter expert and in the identification and creation of product content and sales enablement assets
Basic Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree in marketing, strategy or related field
  • 5+ years experience in B2B product marketing or related field with transferrable skills
  • 2+ years people management

  • 7+ years total work experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience developing effective solutions to complex business problems
  • Experience managing and growing a high-performing team
  • Experience in SaaS product marketing
  • Experience successfully launching new products and services
  • Experience driving and performing quantitative and qualitative research; working with data sets
  • Experience in enterprise product or solution marketing and sales enablement
  • Ability to collect and use customer insights to drive strategic decisions
  • Ability to develop strong value propositions and winning sales narratives for complex products
  • Ability to size and prioritize market opportunities and build business cases
  • Ability to develop effective cross-functional relationships and ongoing communications
  • MA/MBA degree in marketing, strategy or related field
