Senior Principal Consulant | OBIEE Architect
We are looking for a senior BI architect with hands on experience on different BI tools, to join Oracle Utilities Global Business Unit (UGBU) as a Sr Principal Consultant to help Oracle clients in their Business Analytics projects. The UGBU services BI team comprises of senior consultants well versed with leading edge Oracle BI technologies like OUA, ODI, OBIEE and OGG.
The candidate should have over 9 years of consulting and professional experience in various Oracle Business Intelligence technologies including Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 11g/12C (OBIEE), Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Oracle Golden Gate (OGG), Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) and Weblogic. Working experience on BI implementations for clients of large and medium scale industries. Have proficiency in design and development of BI objects and ETLs using ODI and OWB dashboards.
Role & Responsibilities:
Design, configure and build Oracle Utilities' pre-built Analytics applications as well as customizations.
Install and configure OBIEE, ODI and Oracle's pre-built applications.
Customize and create ODI mappings, Golden Gate configurations, OBIEE Repository, Reports and Dashboards as per requirements.
Understand and customize delivered Oracle Analytics functionality.
Act as a mentor to other team members as well as customers with best-practice implementation approaches.
Collect implementation requirements and convert them into tangible deliverables.
Expertise in tuning OBIEE/ ODI processes to meet performance requirements of reports as well as Extract jobs.
Preferred Technical Skills:
Senior resource with a minimum of 8 years of ODI/OBIEE experience.
Must be proficient in ORACLE BI stack of tools (OBIEE / ODI).
Expert skills in OBIEE 11g.
Expert level Oracle database programming skills. SQL, PL/SQL.
Exposure to multiple source systems is mandatory.
Exposure to Weblogic, Unix/Linux shell scripts and Unix tools would be an advantage.
Other Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence for Utilities (OBIU).
Working knowledge in Oracle Utilities Analytics (OUA) modules.
Strong Problem Solving Skills
Strong Communication Skills.
At least 2 full life cycle implementations.
Worked for any of big 4 consulting companies.
This is a Billable Consulting role and requires 80% travel. Candidates can live anywhere in the continental US and typically travel M-TH

6-8 years of experience relevant to this position including 3-4 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
