Responsible for the development and execution of the roadmap for the Panasonic product portfolio with a focus on In Vehicle Infotainment (IVI), Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), Audio, Acoustics, Cluster and Head Up Display sub-segments.  Responsibilities include the planning, implementation and/or definition of successful product plans, customer / market requirement documents, sales and marketing enablement and product launches for Panasonic's products and platforms. Responsible to measure the effectiveness of PASA products over product lifecycles.
Plans, manages, and compiles information, draw conclusions, and makes recommendations by providing Executive Management support in company level strategic planning.  Gathers information/intelligence, performs analysis, and compiles/prepares business reports. Assists management with strategy and key projects related to the company's business, financial, and/or product planning activities.
  • Works with external and internal stakeholders to perform market analysis and customer needs analysis to develop market opportunity assessments and business model proposals to aid product investment decisions and customer requirements for new and existing products.
  • Support new business – assists Program Management and Engineering to supplement Request for Information (RFI) / Request for Proposals (RFP) / Request for Quotations (RFQ) responses with appropriate ecosystem partners. 
  • Reviews RFI / RFP / RFQ responses for commonality and trends to influence product direction and strategy.
  • Analyzes competitive businesses and solutions relevant to current and future products and technologies.
  • Works closely with Sales teams in support of customer opportunities.
  • Provides ongoing feedback from the sales channel and customers into the company regarding products.
  • Responsible for win/loss analysis and reporting.
  • Maintains product dashboard and related reporting.
  • Creates/maintains records, logs, document files, and databases for use in monitoring, tracking, and trending product/project costs, resources, schedules, and status for management.
  • Responsible for tracking and execution of advanced projects related to business development priorities with North American OEMs.
  • Gathers competitive analysis and benching information and is the point of contact for management.
  • Researches new acquisition opportunities and general knowledge of current and future market place.
  • Extracts and summarizes data from company's business information systems and clearly and concisely presents analytical findings to senior management. 
  • Develops business plan based on research and analytical findings related to business opportunities in new product and market directions.
  • Develops creative presentation materials, including charts and graphs for meetings and presentations.
  • Communicates with internal and external customers on local and global level.
  • Reviews and improves the process to effectively reflect top managements' policies as well as customer/market status and trends.
  • Prepares reports, charts, graphs, and other statistical information.
  • Initiates, recommends, and provides solutions through designated channels.
  • Handles sensitive and confidential issues.  Required to maintain the confidential nature of company proprietary and privileged information used or observed in the course of performing job duties.
  • Exhibits strong ethics, influence and negotiation, leadership, interpersonal skills and communication.
  • Responsible for the management of information security as part of the normal management of the business.  Must cooperate with the Company ISM professionals in implementing the information security policies within the Company, and ensures that information is handled in compliance with the Global ISM related regulations.
  • Interprets, enforces and complies with Company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Performs other related duties as needed and as assigned.

  • Bachelors in Engineering, Business, computer science, or equivalent technical degree or diploma program and seven (7) years' experience in product management or technical marketing roles, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Automotive experience in IVI, HUD, Cluster, Audio, Acoustics or ADAS markets is highly desirable.
  • Experience in supporting, planning and organizing multiple projects, including monitoring and reporting project status, and coordinating activities to ensure timely delivery.
  • Experience creating/maintaining records, logs, document files, and databases for use in monitoring, tracking, and trending program/project costs, resources, schedules, and status for management.
  • Overall knowledge and basic understanding of the automotive industry is desired including business practices and cost accounting.
  • Strong program/project management skills required.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Windows based databases as appropriate to the assignment.
