Our team within the Universal Store group in WDG (Windows and Devices Group), is working on expanding the Microsoft Rewards program to continue to drive consumer growth, create fans and grow loyalty. Quoting our CEO, we want our customers to use Windows and all of the other Microsoft services because they LOVE it. We believe that in order to fulfill that vision we need to show our customers that we know them and that we appreciate them; we need to educate them on how to get the best that Microsoft has to offer and we’re seeing that providing customers with incentives that reward them for their true loyalty is a great way to achieve these goals. We are building a consumer loyalty program to drive Windows growth through engagement and monetization.
We are looking for an experienced, independent, self-starter to join our User Experiences team who can help us build these great consumer experiences and drive them to market. We need someone who is passionate about customers, who knows how to build world class user experiences and drive this team in the implementation of this projects.
Candidates can expect to:
1.Design and scope features based on business goals
2.Lead projects from ideation, design, implementation and support
3.Advocate for consumer experience
4.Manage trade-offs and dependencies to ensure we build the right product
5.Work directly with Marketing stakeholders and engineering stakeholders
6.Write functional specs and work with design teams to produce high quality user experiences
7.Own and drive KPI’s and performance that ladders up to team goals.
Required Skills / Experience
•3-5 years’ program/project management experience or equivalent, with a demonstrated ability to translate business requests into execution in a professional technology organization
•Previous experience in building online consumer services
•Proven sense of high accountability and self-drive to take on and see through big challenges: must be a self-starter and detail oriented.
•High degree of competency with project management including: issue and risk identification and management, tracking dependencies.
•Ability to creatively solve challenging business/technology problems.
•Experience gathering business requirements and turning them into detailed project plans and milestones, and communication of overall project status.
•Proven ability to work cross functionally to drive the implementation of new products and features as well as resolve operational issues.
•Excellent oral/written communication skills.
•Experience in working directly with Marketing and business groups
•Knowledge of game theory, gamification techniques and lifecycle management is a strong plus.
