A Senior Program Manager in the EIS - Enterprise Engineering Services (E2S) team, is responsible for designing, developing and implementing enterprise-wide solutions that span across a variety of products and services to meet our partner’s and customer’s business needs. Our team helps Microsoft’s shape the future of the Cloud capabilities while improving global corporate infrastructure.
•End-to-end project management ownership of scope, schedule, budget, risks and issues management across the EIS organizations that we support
•Lead sprint teams (i.e. consisting of software engineers, service managers, service engineers, business program managers, etc.) to deliver on our shared commitments
•Understand customer perspectives and driving positive user experience that aligns with overall business strategy
•Provide program direction and leadership; effectively communicating program updates to executive sponsors, business stakeholders and project team members
•Decisive with ability to impact and influence others
•Drive strategic insight to industry best practices, trends and market research
•Ensure that the development of capabilities supports and adheres to Microsoft Security, Privacy and Risk Management policies
•10+ years in program management with demonstrated experience releasing services
•Demonstrated ability in scenario focused design & development focused on business goals into end to end execution plans
•Passion and demonstrated ability for working cross organizations
•Ability to build good framework and models for prioritization, planning and execution for large projects in collaboration with stakeholders
•Experience working in Visual Studio Team Services leveraging many of its capabilities to run large scale development and release processes
•Ability to deal with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast-paced and changing environment
•Strong technical aptitude with excellent visual and verbal communication skills with ability to influence business and technical decision makers
•Practical knowledge in infrastructure services and technology (compute, storage, networking), software engineering and development lifecycle supporting methodologies & engineering tools
•Creative and inventive spirit, with a passion for large scale scenarios
•A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent
