Our goal is to enable Microsoft’s Universal Store to have the most efficient and effective engineers possible through state-of-the-art integrated productivity and continuous delivery platforms, and release management capabilities.


We are looking for a Project & Release Manager to drive integrated execution and release process across Universal Store biggest projects. You will need excellent project management capabilities that enable you to span the breadth of engineering teams in Universal Store, to insure execution and successful delivery of the Universal Store’s key customer stories. Key responsibilities and career opportunities: Partner with embedded Release Managers across UST and partner teams. Collaborate closely with teams across Universal Store and with key partners in WDG Core, Xbox, Office, Azure Drive executive reviews on story progress and execution Manage your project through a set of conflicting priorities Work with General Contractors and Engineering Managers across Universal Store to land our top objectives with quality.


Qualifications:
• Minimum 5+ years of experience building and releasing software
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to coordinate projects that span teams and organizations
• Proven ability to consistently deliver on commitments
• Strong desire to innovate with your partners to improve processes and business outcomes.
• Experience with Services engineering and operations.
• A BS in Computer Science or equivalent
