Informing enterprises of the health of their environments is critical to the businesses success in transitioning to the new client as a service / subscription model.

As a PM on our team, you’ll have the opportunity to enable our long-term vision for ensuring that there is a complete and compliant data story for enterprises to understand and manage the health of Office 365 ProPlus across their environment. Aligning this vision with the Windows story for managing the health of WaaS is required for Microsoft to be successful.

You will be the PM responsible for a key piece of the analytics story for enterprises. This service is a part of the broader push for enterprise upgrades. As a PM, you would be gathering requirements and feedback, designing features, writing functional specs, and driving the plan for a multi-release with a clear roadmap and schedule, while being one of the folks keeping a finger on the pulse of the enterprise customer.

This role requires solid technical skills, cross-group communication and partnering skills, as candidates will work with enterprise companies and partner teams to drive analysis and resolution of issues. You need to be able to data-driven to drive business goals and objectives across organizations, enhance the health of the app and device ecosystem and achieve the outlined Compatibility metrics.


Drive building a platform that leverages telemetry data to measure enterprise health at scale and with low latency

Present data to partner teams and other business leaders across Office to enable the right experiences for enterprises IT admins

Work with the feature teams to identify potential risks that can have negative impact on enterprise health & adoption of ProPlus, and addressing those based on scope and impact

Write functional and technical specifications, collaborate and forge partnerships with other teams, anticipate bottlenecks and risks, provide project backlog prioritization, make trade-offs and drive the overall project schedule

Negotiate with and influence key decision makers, balance business needs against technical constraints and become an expert in this area.

Basic qualifications:

5+ years of experience shipping products

Preferred qualifications:

Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

Knowledge of large, fault tolerant and highly scalable enterprise data and cloud solutions.

Experience in relational database, BI/analytics, and/or NoSQL products very valuable.

Experience with AGILE development methodologies such as SCRUM and delivering software through a continuous development, deployment model

Strong passion for both customer/enterprise scenarios and technology; ability to balance technical requirements with conflicting customer needs
