SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER

Senior Program Manager, Azure Location Based Services Redmond, WA

The Azure Location Based Services team is looking for a highly technical Program Manager to manage the Azure Location Based Services developer ecosystem.

Azure’s enterprise customers need location services integrated into their applications and cloud-based workloads; and, they need someone who can help work through challenges and be the voice of the developer. This role requires technical aptitude to understand customer scenarios and apply the right Azure services to build the right solution. The role will work directly with Azure field sellers to help boost adoption of Azure Location Based Services and educate customers on the criticality of location in their daily lives. The role would involve speaking engagements and direct customer engagement to work through customer challenges. Additionally, this role is on point for engaging with the developer community through multiple mediums and have product ownership for building developer ecosystem required systems. Previous experience working with location services, spatial databases and Azure capabilities are advantageous. Ability to impact & influence teams using data driven results, technical acumen, ability to influence without authority, good communication skills and customer empathy required.

Other requirements include:
• 10 or more years of experience and demonstrated track record working with customers to build out enterprise-grade applications.
• Moderate depth in JavaScript, C# and Java with the ability to build demonstration applications required.
• Familiarity with Azure’s service capabilities highly beneficial.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, service-oriented release environment with specific experience developing project plans and managing releases on short cycles (Agile, Scrum).

Basic Qualifications:
• B.S. in Computer Science or engineering degree.
