Are you an entrepreneurial PM with a passion for creating big data products? Office 365 is key to Microsoft cloud strategy and we have one of the richest productivity data sets in the world, cutting edge technology and the ability to turn your data insights into real products. Our team builds products that empower both external users, admins as well as a wide spectrum of internal audiences (Marketing, Account Managers, Support, etc.). Our team has a diverse set of folks with expertise in big data, real time analysis, machine learning, service and customer insights, visualizations. We delight in digging deeper to understand customer experience, engagement, satisfaction and asking many "what if" and "why" questions to generate actionable insights. We operate like a start-up with daily analysis, continuous experimentation, obsession over growing our active users and staying in close touch with our customers.

We need an awesome PM who can leverage deep data analysis to create powerful stories that result in business impacting data products that delight Office 365 customers. Technical chops are also a huge plus as our platform is a combination of Office 365, Azure DL/ML, and OSS like Spark-Cassandra. We need someone who can comfortably borrow from best practices in the industry and apply them in nimble fashion to analyze and solve business problems.

Succeeding in this role will require:

-Strong obsession about understanding customer needs and translating into product capabilities

-Proven track record in managing global delivery of highly scalable cloud services

-Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities

-Strong technical knowledge and aptitude for solving tough data and CS problems

-Exceptional ability to effectively negotiate and collaborate across teams and organizations

-Tenacious and proactive drive for results with a sense of urgency

-Strong ability to handle significant ambiguity and rapid change

-Relentless focus on customer needs

-Strong verbal/written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences

Skills and qualifications:

-Success in an engineering PM role delivering high-scale on-line or cloud services.

-3+ years of engineering Program management experience

-BS/BA degree, MS preferred in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field

-Critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, strong track record of structuring and solving complex problems

-Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles
