The Senior Project Manager, Global Process Owner, Employee Relations/Labor Relations is responsible to support the GPO in the governance and proactive development and enhancement of the ER/LR end-to-end process across the J&J enterprise.  The Project Manager will manage overall process roadmap planning, follow-up and execution. They will support ongoing analysis of end-to-end process performance and support facilitation of process adoption.  Additionally, the Project Manager will support the GPO in ensuring process compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Understand and support the Company's short, medium and long term strategy for the supported process functional area.
  • Support GPO with managing end-to-end process governance, utilizing project management skills to manage coordination of current and future initiatives.
  • Partner with GPO, Organization/ Talent Analytics and Reporting team to define Key Performance Indicators and operational metrics of relevant data to understand the process performance and effectiveness.
  • Consolidate & analyze ongoing process performance analytics to drive and shape continuous improvement decisions.
  • Accountable for decisions documentation and tracking follow-up actions.
  • Supports global deployment and adoption of end-to-end process, with regional and local requirements customization as required
  • Collaborate with any relevant stakeholder in Corporate Services, Business Unit or Global Services, HR and inter-department to ensure any required changes to policies, procedures, and processes are implemented
  • Collaborate with GPO Project Manager peers and GPO to ensure alignment and creation of a best practice sharing community.
  • Support/lead process localization activities, workshops, process documentation, SRT (service rehearsal testing), go-live activities and other process work as required. 

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. 
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant business experience is required. 
  • Exposure/experience with Employee Relations/Labor Relations is required.   
  • PMP Certification or equivalent preferred; Green Belt or Black Belt or equivalent is preferred.
  • Project management proficiency required (e.g., project plans, status reports, communication plans, risk management plans, milestones, deliverable charts).
  • Experience deploying and launching or working within shared service centers - from process design to launch is required. 
  • Experience with (SFDC), Visio or iGrafx is preferred.
  • Strong demonstrated leadership skills; operates as a global leader with understanding and appreciation for regional differences is required.
  • Strong facilitation skills are required.
  • Generates trust and builds a high degree of credibility with stakeholders is required.
  • Experience balancing voice of the customer with enterprise-wide business and HR strategies is required.
  • The position will require up to 25% domestic and international travel.
