The Senior Quality Management Staff Manager will develop and provide the overall Quality strategy for Dresser and Energy Services business. This role will be responsible for partnering with the P&L Leadership and Quality teams to define and execute the businesses global and regional quality strategy.
In the role of Senior Quality Management Staff Manager, you will:
+ Provide leadership and direction to Traditional Quality resources in executing a strategy for improvement in customer satisfaction (NPS), product and services quality, technical regulatory compliance, process capability, delivery, continuous improvement programs and Cost of Quality (COQ) for the organization
+ Drive Quality KPIs through successful implementation of quality processes and practices, including tracking progress and report outs
+ Work with quality managers, quality teams, and key functional partners to continue to develop the quality strategy, prioritize goals & objectives to optimize process while maintaining or exceeding current standard of quality
+ Partner with key stakeholders to develop a strategy and program execution to drive improvement in the customer experiences and reduced cost of quality failure utilizing lean six sigma toolset
+ Support and influence business leaders in the evolution of the new organization through integration efforts with Product Line GM's
+ Support the execution of the quality strategy to align and remain compliant with GE O&G Level Quality Management System
+ Drive customer issue resolution metrics to meet customer needs and expectations
+ Improve customer satisfaction and reduce process variation through application of continuous improvement policies and procedures driving one harmonized approach to CI for Dresser
+ Provide leadership to ensure the appropriate staffing, training, development and performance management of the global Quality Team
+ Lead and mentor direct reports to strengthen personal and business growth and breadth
+ Assure P&L audit readiness and product compliance with regulations
+ Build out and develop regional framework to optimize quality support across the business
+ Communicate progress, status, and issues to Senior Leadership and functional leaders as required
+ Educate, coach and mentor others on Quality Systems
+ Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or Business discipline from an accredited college or university
+ Minimum 5 years of experience of Quality Leadership
+ Minimum 5 years of experience applying statistical tools to process improvement and quality projects
+ Six Sigma Black Belt certification (GE Employees Only)
+ Process simplification experience
+ Demonstrated leadership, project management, organizational and planning skills
+ Demonstrated ability to execute with multiple matrixed teams and build consensus / actions
+ Demonstrated knowledge of Quality Systems (demonstrated experience with ISO, CE, REACH, WEEE and other key regulatory bodies) and experience with new product introduction process (NPI)
+ Knowledge of and exposure to manufacturing or engineering processes
+ Change agent with strong credibility and influence in the organization
+ Established analytical and quantitative ability
+ Statistically literate and familiar with Six Sigma quality concepts and tools
+ Demonstrated commitment for process improvement
+ Strong oral and written communication skills
+ Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
+ Successful in working in a matrixed organization
+ Customer-focused in defining quality and establishing priorities
+ Able to make executive level presentations
+ Strong organizational skills
