Global Operations (Global Ops) focuses on creating positive experiences for MetLife customers and helping the company make the best use of its global resources. We’re looking for unique talent with fresh perspectives that can propel innovation. In this role you will receive and processes remittance payments from policyholders and applies to policies, contracts, and/or benefit plans within corporate and legal guidelines.


  • Advanced level subject matter expert, subject to minimal supervision.
  • Handles extremely complex and/or high dollar amount transactions for the unit and applies them to policies, contracts, and/or benefit plans.
  • Completes special projects as assigned.
  • Quality checks, reviews and evaluates work completed by lower level personnel for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Reviews results with associates and provides coaching tips. Balances, updates and runs scheduled and ad hoc reports for management and customers.
  • Assists with updating departmental procedures manuals and communicates changes to other departments and customers.
  • Recommends approved workflow and departmental procedures. Serves as a point of contact for escalated cases from staff and for interdepartmental inquiries.
  • May handle multi-functional processes. Identifies and notifies team lead or training staff of training issues.
  • Researches and resolves complex reconciliation, banking, billing, collection, or payment methodology problems.
  • Processes remittance transactions as necessary.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned.


  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Credit/debits preferred
  • High School Diploma required
  • Bachelor’s Degree
