The Senior Reporting Analyst will support both new reporting initiatives and ongoing reporting needs using a variety of tools crossing numerous data sources. This individual will assist with new reporting initiatives within the HR & payroll area. Ongoing reporting initiatives will include monthly Managed Care financial reporting and Performance Improvement initiatives. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLS
Support all reporting initiatives associated with F&ES Reporting. This would include both corporate and field customers such as: Facility, Division and Group operations, SRG, Legal, Executive Management, Human Resources, Payroll, Case Management, Performance Improvement, Reimbursement, REGs and Clinical Services Group.
The Reporting Analyst should have a working knowledge of hospital operations and the various systems surrounding the operations such as HR/Payroll, HOST General Ledger, Online Stats, QMIRS, SMART, Patient Accounting, and Casemix. In addition to an in-depth knowledge of data sources, the reporting analyst should be proficient with reporting tools including (but not limited to) QlikView, Business Objects, SQL, Oracle Essbase Excel Add-In/SmartView, Arcplan, Vista, MS Office and Document Direct.
The individual will contribute to the success of the strategic initiatives of the Financial & Employee Services department through innovation, creativity and continued quality and process improvement. Individual must be self-motivated with the ability to self-direct, track, measure and document within a professional multi-tasking, multi-priority environment.
Duties include shared responsibility for security administration and support of the BOBJ Lawson/Payroll universes, HR Analytics and QlikView applications. Additional duties consist of BOBJ universe design changes, new application development and changes to existing applications utilized in sourcing the F&ES analytical reporting.
The Senior Reporting Analyst will support new reporting initiatives and applications by gaining an understanding of the underlying data models and designing reports for new applications.Qualifications: EXPERIENCE
- 5 years of relevant work experience with less than a year of management experience
