Role Description

Located in South San Francisco, Rinat provides the feel of a small start-up company with the resources of a large pharmaceutical company in the heart of the biotech capital of the world.

We are seeking a self-motivated Research Associate/Sr. Research Associate to join our biosensor group. The candidate will participate as a team-player in a high-intensity core facility that generates analytical data to support multiple projects at Rinat at every stage of the drug discovery of monoclonal antibodies. The candidate will work within a team on various biosensor platforms such as Biacore, ProteOn, Octet, and KinExA in characterizing antigen/antibody interactions. Duties will include helping scientists to execute different types of experiments, ranging from screening crude samples to the in-depth kinetic and epitope characterization of lead compounds, as well as processing and analyzing data.

• BS degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, chemical engineering with 3+ years of experience, or MS with 1+ years' of experience. The candidate must have a solid science background.
• A working knowledge of complementary analytical techniques such as HPLC is preferred.


The candidate must have strong analytical skills, fluent math skills, meticulous bench skills, and a desire to learn new techniques within a team atmosphere.
