**Job Description:** **POSITION SUMMARY:** Reporting to the SVP of Global Systems Engineering, the Senior Communications Specialist is responsible for the development and deployment of Virtustream's Sales communication strategy and managing all sales communications activities including win wire, sales reference program, and collateral distribution including acting as the conduit to product management and the field sales organization. You bring 10 years of experience with you to this role. **Responsibilities:** _C_ _ommunications Strategy, Vision and Leadership_ + Develop and implement an integrated strategic communications plan to advance Virtustream's brand + identify and broadenawareness of its programs and priorities; and increase the visibility of its programs acrosskey stakeholder audiences + Work with leadership team and staff to recognize internal and external communications opportunities andsolutions, and define and execute appropriate strategies to support them + Serve as communications advisor to Virtustream sales leadership and the field sales organization _Communications Operations_ + **Internal Communications** + Create and implement employee communications strategies to ensure delivery of key sales messages and information Work with senior leaders to employ effective communications strategies. Partner to develop messaging and plans that drive organizational engagement and foster increased corporate visibility Utilize existing leadership and employee communications channels including town halls, emails, and other forums to share information and drive engagement Simultaneously manage multiple communications projects as well as internal and/or external resources (i.e. consultants, agencies and vendors) to effectively achieve project goals + Serve as writer/editor and support development of internal communication materials + Evaluate and measure effectivenessof internalcommunications programs, using the resultstostrengthen the planning and execution of future programs **EMC Values:** When you choose our company, you join a diverse world of innovative thought leaders.
