The Senior Sales Consultant will directly contribute to our success and play a key role in helping us expand our top line revenue and client list for 2017 and beyond.
The Senior Sales Consultant will be the key technical resource and product advocate for the sales and account management team. Uncovering business requirements and creating and effectively demonstrating solutions that address customer requirements, the Senior Sales Consultant not only helps educate potential and existing clients on the benefits of the Bronto Marketing Platform but also enables our internal sales team through technical training and consulting. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys presenting technology to technical and non-technical audiences, is passionate about working with others (both internal and external) and finds themselves obsessing over solving problems and customer satisfaction.
The Senior Sales Consultant must have a sales mentality (your compensation depends on it!) and must get along with people wired to sell. You will be responsible for executing the technical aspects of the sales strategy by presenting and developing appropriate solutions and building ongoing technical relationships. This position is charged with developing a thorough understanding of our prospect and customers' business needs and effectively communicating and translating those into technical solutions.
* BS/BA degree
* Minimum of 5 years experience in a customer facing role
* Prior experience delivering product demonstrations and technical presentations to all levels including C-Level Executives
* Experience working on RFI's and RFP's
* Familiarity with SOAP and Restful APIs, preferred not required
* Proven track record of consistent goal attainment
* Experience providing pre-sales technical assistance
* Strong phone skills are required
* Understanding of eCommerce Industry and Technologies preferred
* 1-3 years experience providing Internal Training preferred
* Experience with web-based software as a service (SaaS) applications preferred
Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.
As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.
Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 5 years relevant computer applications or database/tools. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Through knowledge of system and application design. Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as needed. BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.
