This role will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining a dynamic and scalable self-service portal in support of LinkedIn's continued accelerated growth using ServiceNow's CMS development kit.
Responsibilities: Design and implement overall site designs using HTML, CSS, javascript, AngularJS, jelly Create original user interface elements using Javascript, HTML, CSS Evaluate, suggest, and outline improvements to existing interface flows Analyze complex issues and deliver pragmatic solutions Develop required KPIs and reporting Combine disparate software platform features to deliver creative solutions to business needs Design and build integrations from other platforms and data sources Develop efficient web applications Collaborate with design teams to draft, communicate and deliver engaging user interfaces designs Perform Application UI and supporting workflow configuration Develop necessary client specific reporting Support and develop custom UI pages that are scalable for each business unit Enable self-service solution using knowledge and the service catalog Design and Build modern, fast mobile UI to replace the OOTB mobile interface Take specific business requirements and translate into mockups, designs and technical specifications for new features and functionality
Basic Qualifications: B. . /B. . in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 3+ years of enterprise application development and deployment experience. 2+ years of ServiceNow administration experience. Experience with Angular JS with Bootstrap Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jelly scripting, web services
Preferred Qualifications: Development experience in client and server-side Javascript or Java Knowledge of ServiceNow CMS Architecture Knowledge of technical components such as VPN, LDAP, SSL and other such technologies Experience implementing high traffic web applications with dynamic UI. Ability to create original thematic overall visual designs (comps) based on client template guidance or general branding and identity elements Experience in web application development a plus; understanding of HTTP request model, synchronous and asynchronous requests, performance best practices, browser rendering pipeline, etc. preferred. Experience with aspects of mobile device design and UI Thorough understanding of CSS specificity and cross-browser compatibility issues Demonstrable experience integrating code into large projects and codebases Strong customer service mindset 5 yrs. of software development experience, preferably in client services Experience in analyzing and estimating business requirements Self-starter and possess excellent attention to detail, and effective time management skills. Experience in a global firm a plus A fundamental understanding of ITSM or ITIL
