Ruby on Rails is our framework of choice, but we're interested in anyone with solid full-stack, object-oriented web development experience. Our engineers come from a variety of backgrounds including Ruby, Java, C , .NET, PHP, and Python.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (what you have to have)
- 5 years full-stack web development experience
- 3 years experience with a modern, object-oriented MVC backend framework
- 3 years experience with a relational database (MySQL, PostgreSQL, OracleDB, etc)
- 5 years experience with HTML & CSS
- Experience with version control systems (Git, Subversion, etc)
- Familiarity with package managers (RubyGems, Composer, pip, etc)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (you get bonus points for these)
- Experience with Ruby
- Familiarity with Ruby on Rails
- Experience with one or more backend test frameworks (e.g., Rspec)
- Experience with SASS or LESS CSS preprocessors
- Familiarity with search platforms (e.g., Solr)
- Familiarity with in-memory data stores (e.g., Redis)
- Familiarity with acceptance test frameworks (e.g., Capybara)
- Familiarity with DevOps problems at scale
- Familiarity with virtualized and/or containerized environments (e.g., Vagrant or Docker)
- Familiarity with Test Driven Development (TDD)

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel.
