Are you passionate about building brand new components and services to solve challenging distributed systems problems? The High Availability Storage team is the one for you!

We are looking for a talented, self-motivated software engineer with high growth potential and a passion for learning. As a member of our team, your work will have broad impact across multiple products including very large private cloud datacenters and Microsoft Azure. You will work on challenging problems in the areas of distributed systems, scale, performance optimization, and help us contribute to Microsoft’s next generation hybrid cloud storage platform. Breadth of technology, depth, user mode, kernel mode, front end, services, you name it. Nothing is off limits here.


Basic Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of experience developing software in C++ and/or C#

Preferred Qualifications:
• Solid problem solving & design skills
• BS/BA degree or higher in computer science or equivalent
