We are looking for a passionate developer to help us continue to improve the developer experience on Windows. Join our team and help make a difference to Microsoft’s large developer audience!

Our team is responsible for delivering several technologies that developers use to build great Windows applications, including the device emulator. The emulator is the basis for multiple device emulators that have shipped from Microsoft, including versions for HoloLens and Mobile.

We are looking for a developer to help us make the emulator even better so that Windows developers can more quickly build applications for devices to which they don’t have physical access. The emulator work spans everything from drivers to services to networking to UX, which means it’s a great place to gain experience on a wide variety of technologies.

We're looking for a passionate software engineer who wants to improve the application developer experience for Windows developers. The work will require collaboration with other groups within the Windows organization, as well as other Microsoft groups.

We're looking for a candidate who has a proven ability to deliver results and is not afraid to take on big challenges. You should be a growing leader, someone who takes the initiative to take on responsibility and to help the team move forward.

This is a chance to work on a project that spans many different technologies across Microsoft and is key to the success of both internal and external Windows developers.

Required Qualifications:
• 5 years of software development of production software experience Solid teamwork and communication skills Solid cross-team and collaboration skills Solid coding and debugging skills in C/C++/C# Growing design and problem solving skills
• Ability and passion to pick up new technologies and stay on the cutting edge of development Demonstrated experience collaborating across teams

Additional Desired Qualifications:
• Experience with a large complex codebase Knowledge of the Win32 platform Experience using Visual Studio Experience building Windows Store Apps
