SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER

The Universal Store Team (UST) in Windows and Devices group (WDG) powers commerce for most of Microsoft’s key businesses. With a catalog constantly expanding, diagnosing any issues needs to be done fast with high accuracy. We are part of Universal Store’s Continuous Delivery, Integration & Diagnostic team, that is focused on providing UST with a one stop shop for all their catalog diagnostics needs.

The team is looking for a Software Development Engineer to help work in a team that builds a seamless experience for catalog diagnostics. This position offers the right candidate a unique opportunity to have a technical impact on a key Microsoft business, while learning invaluable cloud software skills and being mentored by experienced engineers.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Design and implement diagnostic tooling for the store.
- Provide high quality code, that scales to millions of products.
- Collaborating closely with partner teams within UST

Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in software development in C# or equivalent languages

Required qualifications include:
- 2+ years of experience in software development in C# or equivalent languages
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline.

- Ability to work in a fast paced, agile environment
- Having ‘full stack’ skill set (SQL, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, React) would be great but not required.
