We are looking for an engineer with a passion for building large scale systems with an emphasis on performance, scalability, and reliability. Our team is focused on continuous improvement, including rapid deployment, and fast iteration cycles. The ability to work in an agile environment will be a key to success. We ship our software at a high cadence, and stand behind its quality and experiences of our customers. The Orleans team provides a unique opportunity to work on the innovative technology that is already globally respected for its thought leadership while working closely with the product groups that are running it in production, and collaborating with the worldwide open source community. All of the Orleans development is done openly on GitHub. Working on it will help you build your public OSS profile visible to your future employers.

Position requirements:

8+ years of software development experience with OOP, preferably C# / C++
A history of successful implementation and timely shipment of high quality products is required, preferably experience building scalable, secure, high-performance, multi-threaded server applications & services
Good problem-solving skills
Excellent coding skills
Desirable:
Demonstrated ability to work effectively cross-group, and great passion for team collaboration
Experience with cloud platforms, such as Azure/AWS/GCP, and with technologies, such as Docker
BS degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
Technical leadership skills
