The Bing Ads team is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a diverse family of services and components—from Web UI to large-scale distributed data storage, from data analysis pipelines to machine-learning systems, from end user apps to a geographically-scaled real-time ad selection engine that serves billions of requests each and every day.
Our Marketplace and Serving group is seeking a Senior level SDE to join our Performance and Tools infrastructure team. As part of this crew, you will be expected to collaborate with other engineering and data scientist teams from across Bing Ads and other Bing partner teams to improve a wide range of tools and services, with a specific focus on enabling rapid experimentation for features intended to both enhance user experience and increase revenue. Our tools and services cover usage such as monitoring performance and reliability of new builds to rich data visualization tools used to analyze the thousands of advertising experiments, alerting and monitoring thousands of business KPI’s.
To contribute to this effort, we are looking for a talented and highly-driven developer with experience developing large scale systems.
• A four-year degree in computer science or the equivalent
• A minimum of 5 years of software development experience
• A minimum of 5 year experience programming in C# or C++
• A background in designing and developing multi-tiered client/server systems.
• Experience in real-time monitoring, data processing, reporting or visualization and relevant technologies such as COSMOS/Hadoop/SQL
• Displayed problem solving, and debugging skills
