**Job Description:** Worksite: Santa Clara, CA, and various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States. Job Duties: Provide specialized technical skills and expertise by independently determining and developing approaches to solutions for a wide range of complex software engineering problems related to automation of data storage testing and infrastructure. Assignments may include new data storage related products or upgrades, enhancements or fixes to existing products. Proactively fix problems within the data storage subsystem module or component and make backup and recovery products more supportable. Write high level design specs, unit test plans and integration test plans. Analyze and code complex modules, define data structures, and specify test tools. Accountable for delivery of subsystem, anticipate issues and address them proactively. Design, implement and debug multi-threaded programs by applying appropriate concurrency control and synchronization techniques. May be assigned to projects that utilize DDMC, DDR/DDVE and Hyper-V. May be assigned to various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Comp. Sci., Engin.(any), Business, Math, Physics, or related technical field. 60 months experience in job offered or computer-related occupation. Experience must include 60 months of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Experience must include: 1) boost; 2) wxWidgets; 3) Unit testing (Mock hpp, cppunit); 4) Valgrind; 5) XML, XSD, XSL, XSLT; 6) Network management/storage technologies (SNMP, RAID, SAN, DAS, iSCSI); 7) Coding/Debugging/Reviewing Tools (vim, vi, gdb, code collaborator); and 8) Relational databases.
