•Works with engineers in-house and external vendors to develop Graphical User Interfaces for ophthalmic surgical devices.
•Tasks include creating software requirements, software design, establishing statement of work with software vendors,
•Creating test/validation plans for software, documentation.
•Involved in all phases and responsible for the GUI development through its entire lifecycle.
•Participates and contributes in software architecture design of an ophthalmic surgical device.
•Creates and maintains Software Requirements Specifications, Architecture and Detailed Design Documents related to GUI.
•Collaborates according to the development plan with external UX Design vendor.
•Works closely with Software Verification and Validation (SV&V) group to define software testing and validation plan and protocols.

•5+ years of Software Development Experience
•Experience with Qt/QML UI development in collaboration with UX Designers
•Familiar with compliance requirements on software development process for medical device.
