The Senior Subscription and Support Seller focuses on renewing Passport Advantage Renewals over $850K; including but not limited to identifying and closing in some situations reinstatement and Software as a Service (SaaS) opportunities through Connect to Cloud initiatives. The primary goals of this position are to ensure renewals are closed on time, year-to-year growth and identifying reinstatement, SaaS and small compliance opportunities by protecting and growing client's spend with IBM. The objective involves working with IBM's Client Teams, Software Sales Representatives, and customers and partners to ensure timely processing of software renewals and maximizing the software subscription and support revenue. A strong sales background, digital capabilities and understanding and articulating value concepts is critical to the success of this position.
In addition to working with the local sales and business partner organization, the Senior Subscription and Support Seller will also work closely with the operations, pricing, contracts and negotiations, legal, and Customer Support organizations. When deemed appropriate, travel will be required to secure client's relationship and work through complex solutions. Understanding IBM's cross brand portfolio, passport advantage, and end to end business process, external and internal, is critical to this sales position.
