Senior Systems Analyst, Finance Corporate Systems

Provide corporate financial systems expertise and support in developing, maintaining and improving the financial consolidation process and tools and enhancing business systems to provide new or enhanced products to clients or effective planning, reporting, and analysis tools to internal functions. The role serves as the champion of the financial systems and technical liaison between the Finance team and Global Technology and Operations.

Assist in directing and maintaining corporate financial systems and associated infrastructure that support internal and external financial reporting as well as management and business analysis in the areas of financial reporting, planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Support global management information processes and reporting for corporate executive management, Board of Directors and external investors and regulatory filings. Act as a consultant on financial systems matters from a corporate perspective and provides insight to regional finance teams.

Overall Accountabilities: Maintain global Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) support for 150+ global users to ensure finance meets its objectives in areas such as consolidation and financial closing, forecasting and budgeting, and SOX controls. Assist in identifying, evaluating and implementing HFM system upgrades, developing project and testing plans for upgrades, manage relationships with IT and external vendors. Manage system change requests and monthly updates to the HFM application as well as reports and journal templates. Perform financial close responsibilities for data integrations, consolidations, and reporting.

Reporting Accountabilities: Manage monthly data reconciliation process for Legal and Management reporting. Provide frequent ad-hoc support to other Corporate functions (FP&A, Financial Reporting, Tax, Treasury, SBS). Write and maintain Hyperion financial reports using Hyperion Financial Reporting Studio.

Training Accountabilities: Develop education courses, coordinate and train corporate and business unit finance associates in the use of HFM, Hyperion Reporting, SmartView and Essbase. Perform special projects and ad hoc analysis as required. Maintain documentation on key systems and processes.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance or Business Administration, and a minimum of eight (8) years experience. Knowledge of business-wide applications including Hyperion Financial Management, Financial Reporting, SmartView and Essbase (Version 11 preferred). Strong Microsoft Office experience.

Full technical knowledge of most phases of systems analysis. Demonstrated ability to understand client requirements as well as underlying infrastructure applications, systems and processes to enable execution of those skills. In-depth knowledge of current systems.
