At LinkedIn, we're looking to hire a Sr. Systems Engineer for the Identity and Access Management team. As a Senior Systems Engineer for the Identity and Access Management team, you will play a key role on the team responsible for the design, implementation, and operational success of some of the core internal infrastructure services at LinkedIn. This role involves engineering and operational duties in managing SSO integrations, Active Directory, Azure AD and requires an innovative stance on the future of authentication and identity management at LinkedIn.
Responsibilities: Manage and enable SSO integrations with Okta/ADFS/Azure. Working with Vendors and internal businesses to onboard cloud or internal applications. Knowledge of End-to-End user lifecycle management from provisioning to deprovisioning using custom tools or enterprise solutions. Production support of IAM infrastructure. Executes projects ensuring major project activities, milestones and deliverables are planned/tracked, and that progress is accurately reported using standard project management tools. Develop and update automation tools and scripts using preferred language. Proactively identifies gaps, plans, implements, updates, maintains, manages, monitors, and supports enterprise IAM Tools. Develop and execute high profile project plans in coordination with the project management team and peers. Resolve complex technical issues in a Tier 3 capacity. Participate in an on-call rotation supporting our core services.
Basic Qualifications: 5+ years in IT, 2+ specifically related to authentication and identity management technologies in enterprise environments Experience enabling integrations for Okta SSO, ADFS, AzureAD Experience with Federation, SSO, SAML, OpenID, OAuth, PKI. Experience with directory services such as Active Directory, LDAP, VDS. Experience in change management, participate in peer reviews Experience with authorization/access control models. Experience Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions and technologies. Experience in scripting, specifically with either PowerShell, Python, Java.
