At LinkedIn, we're looking to hire a Sr. Systems Engineer for the Compute Team. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a key role on the team responsible for the design, implementation, and operational success of some of the core internal infrastructure services at LinkedIn. This role involves engineering and operational duties in Active Directory, LDAP, PKI, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS and requires an innovative stance on the future of authentication and identity management at LinkedIn.
Responsibilities: Manage and develop the existing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, Virtual Directory Services infrastructure and integrations Develop and update automation tools and scripts, primarily written in PowerShell Resolve complex technical issues in a Tier 3 capacity Develop and execute project plans in coordination with the project management team and peers, including self managed projects. Participate in a 24x7 on-call engineer rotation supporting our core services Find opportunities to innovate, extend and enhance service delivery everywhere possible
Basic Qualifications B. . /B. . in a technical or business field, or equivalent practical experience 5+ years of experience working in enterprise or corporate IT 3+ years of experience in authentication and identity management Experience managing Active Directory infrastructure Experience in automation using PowerShell. Experience working in an enterprise environment with Incident Management, Change Management, and SOX controls
Preferred Qualifications Experience managing a Certificate Authority Experience developing, deploying, and managing identity management solutions Knowledge of vSphere/Vmware and virtual technologies is a plus. Ability to identify, define, and document operational duties and processes
